At Valley Christian Junior High and High School, our mission is to partner with you to establish a foundation for tomorrow's leaders. We seek to develop well-rounded students through Christ-centered educational programs and extracurriculars.
We aim to equip our graduates with the skills to flourish spiritually, excel academically, thrive relationally, and succeed in life's work!
We are committed to providing a quality Christian education in an environment where the biblical Great Commission of “going into all the world and preaching the gospel to every creature” is an integral part of the education of every student. A gifted and talented faculty that builds into each student’s life through modeling integrity and consistency provides quality instruction that reaches beyond the classroom.
Our comprehensive curriculum is designed to provide the rigor necessary to prepare students for college and to be successful in the work environment. Questions regarding any curricular area can be directed to our Director of Curriculum and Instruction or the appropriate Department Head. Our full range of academic courses assist students with acquiring the skills and knowledge that have resulted in students enrolling in large state universities, Ivy League schools, small private schools and military academies.
Outside of the classroom, vast opportunities are provided for Valley Christian Junior High and High School students through our extracurricular programs. Our superior athletics program made up of 34 sports teams provides athletes opportunities for advancement beyond their high school career. Specific focus is also given to our extensive Fine Arts program that allows artists, thespians, instrumentalists and choral groups opportunities for expression and advancement.
Accredited by ACSI and WASC, Valley Christian Junior High and High School is poised to launch a building program that will culminate in a new state of the art High School. Resting on top of a high hill overlooking the Tri-Valley communities of Dublin, Pleasanton, and Livermore to the east and tree covered hills and canyons to the south, the school and church occupy a beautiful 50-acre site incomparable in the San Francisco area.
We believe it is as important to teach today’s young people how to live in a continuously changing global society as it is to equip them with the skills necessary to become a productive part of the community. For parents and students who identify with this view and are interested in learning more about VCS, the staff invites you to call [925] 560-6250 for a personal interview, classroom visits, and tour of the facilities.
