- Course selection at a college or other educational institution cannot replace core subjects available at VCHS, especially English and Bible.
- Course selection must be part of a comprehensive plan for high school curriculum that is documented in the counseling office and in the student’s cumulative file.
- Parents must sign permission form and a copy must be placed in the student’s cumulative file.
- Students requesting courses available to them at VCHS must provide compelling reasons to enroll in the same course at a college, and the principal must approve the request in addition to the guidance counselor.
- Student’s may receive dual credit for successfully completed college courses. The student must request an official transcript be sent from the college to the VCHS registrar. College courses will not be added to the high school transcript until an official record is received from the college. Report cards will not be accepted as a substitute for the college transcript.
- Courses taken at another school for graduation credit at VCHS must be completed and the final grade report received by the end of the first semester of the senior year.
