Most of our students live in Pleasanton, Livermore, San Ramon, Danville and Dublin.

The curriculum at Valley Christian Elementary encompasses seven basic subjects; English, reading, math, science, history, spelling, and Bible.
:: What standardized testing do our students take and how do we compare with other schools?
Our students take the Terra Nova 3 standardized testing in the spring.
:: How many students are in each class?
Kindergarten through fifth grade classes average twenty-four students, but will not exceed twenty-eight students.

Lunch is served five days a week.

Spanish and Mandarin are offered to all students as an after school activity.

Yes for fourth and fifth grade students we have a math class. In addition we have a creative writing class for our fifth grade students.
:: What does our uniform consist of?
A uniform is required for grades Kindergarten through 5th. Uniform information and guidelines are available in the Student Handbook.
:: What extra curricular activities do we have?
We have music, art, drama and acting, ballet, salsa, Spanish and Mandarin, computers, Math Makes Sense, Chess Club, Impact, and Royal Rangers.

:: How do we evaluate students for acceptance?
We give entering kindergarten and first grade students a developmental test and the older students a math portion and a reading portion of the SAT.
:: Do we have a special education class?
We do not have special education classes.
:: How much of a turnover do we have in staff?
We have very little turnover.

:: How does Extended Care work and is it offered when school is closed?
Any student registered in the school can use Extended Care at any time. Extended Care is offered on most days when school is not in session.
:: What is the total student enrollment?
The total enrollment for our Preschool through High School is approximately 900.
:: Do many of our students continue through high school?
Yes, many of our graduates started in the pre-school.
:: What percentage of your graduates attend college and what colleges do they attend?
Close to 100% of our students go on to college. They are accepted at any of the well known colleges and universities.
