Campus Security

The protection of those students entrusted to us, adults, teachers and anyone who comes on our campus, is something that we take seriously at Valley Christian. We have planned safety from a comprehensive approach and have in place many strategies and processes to deal with emergencies and to safeguard the campus from individuals who have no legitimate reason to be here. The components of our security plans include identification badges for all staff and volunteers, comprehensive evacuation plans in the event of fire, earthquake or other catastrophic events that require safeguarding the campus. Additionally, we have in place an emergency ‘’parent broadcast” system that allows us to send voice messages to individuals or multiple phone numbers of parents within minutes in the event of an evacuation or emergency.

Technology allows us to monitor most areas of our campus with “real time” monitoring occurring as necessary. All of our staff is trained and sensitized to be alert for individuals or situations that are out of the norm. We work very carefully with the Dublin Police Department and they appreciate the professional approach with which we deal with security at Valley Christian Schools. Appropriate confidentially dictates discretion in what we can reveal regarding security systems in place, but they are redundant and designed with the safety of students as a priority.
