Alumni Council
The Alumni Council is a group of volunteers consisting of Alumni from various classes. The group currently holds meetings every ___ Monday of the Month. Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. and are held in the Junior High Building, Room 2 at Valley Christian.
All Alumni are welcome to attend Alumni Council meetings. Purpose of the Alumni Council
The Valley Christian Alumni Council helps connect Alumni to one another and the School by providing networking and mentoring opportunities for Alumni. Council members act as advocates to develop the School's Alumni community, support one another and the School through events and fundraiser participation. The duties of the Alumni Council members include, but are not limited to:
- Regularly attend Alumni Council Meetings
- Discuss, create, and administer opportunities for Alumni to connect with one another and the School
- Encourage Alumni attendance and promote available connection opportunities via the website, Facebook page, Newsletter, and/or home mailers
- Explore storylines, write articles, receive/review written articles from non-council members and publish Alumni newsletter. Newsletter to be posted on Alumni Website twice a year.
By becoming a member of the Valley Christian Alumni Council, you play a vital role in shaping the future of the Alumni Association. Participation in the Council also looks great on your resume!
