Resting on top of a high hill overlooking the Tri-Valley communities of Dublin, Pleasanton and Livermore to the east and tree covered hills and canyons to the south, the school and church occupy a beautiful 50-acre site incomparable in the San Francisco area.
At Valley Christian Junior High School, our mission is to partner with parents to establish a foundation for tomorrow’s leaders. That foundation is based upon the teachings of Christ as laid out in His Word. Our full-range of academic courses are taught from a Bibilical perspective. Students graduate with a Christian worldview that equips them with life skills necessary for maintaining integrity and strong moral values in a competitive society. Taught by an experienced and talented group of teachers, students are equipped with the skills and knowledge that have resulted in students enrolling in large state universities, ivy league schools, small private schools and military academies.
Our elective offerings range from a variety of courses such as Cultural Arts, Technology 1, Yearbook and Christian Leadership. Seventh and eighth grade students may select a language study in either Spanish or German should specific academic criteria be met. VCJH also offers a variety of student activities such as interscholastic athletics, student government, class parties, gym nights and dances.
